Rotary Reykjavík International welcomes its members, visiting Rotarians and guests to its weekly meeting. This week we are pleased to welcome our guest Dr Emily Lethbridge, Research Lecturer and Head of the Department for Name Studies (Nafnfræðisvið) at the Árni Magnússon Institute for Icelandic Studies. Her presentation “Medieval Icelandic saga heritage in modern landscapes” : how stories in the sagas live in the landscape, as well as being preserved in manuscripts promises to be most interesting.
